About

Growing up on a small farm with a big garden and lots of fruit trees, plants were simply part of life. I carved forts out of blackberry brambles and turned apple trees into imaginary houses, their little nooks becoming kitchens and bedrooms.

My relationship with plants deepened when I got my first pet rabbit and began growing parsley just for him — the first time I'd chosen a plant of my own, rather than simply enjoying what the farm already offered.

Looking back, it's striking how plants have shown up at every turn since, feeding my curiosity about the world around us: through my studies, my career, and the herb farm my mom and I started together in 2005.

Today, that wonder is still at the center of everything I do. I connect with plants through gardening, foraging, cooking, crafting, reading, seasonal observation, and a daily cup of tea.

I find just as much meaning in a slow walk through a local park, greeting returning plant friends each season, as I do diving into the science of how we interact with the botanical world around us.

I hold a Master's in Environmental Management, have completed a one-year ethnobotany and herbalism apprenticeship as a Community Herbalist, and finished a nine-month EcoSpiritual Facilitation Training.

At heart, I'm a devoted plant nerd who loves learning and sharing that curiosity with others.

I'd love to have you along for the adventure.
